SUMMER!

It is a glorious day! Well..here in Soeul is extremely hot! Luckly today it rained! So it got much cooler~ I bet lots of you are enjoying summer! Summer is a month when we can enjoy more of the out door activities. For example, going to the mountain , camping, or visiting the ocean! I wish all of you could have a wonderful day!! Good bye~ and I will soon meet you at the next posting!

Photo Essay

Hi? Today I will talk about my one week trip to San Diego. I traveled lots of other counties, and even lived in Rochester Minnesota(America) for 1 year, I liked San Diego the most. The weather was perfect and the blue skies and seas made my mind cool~So I'll write a photo essay about San Diego!^ ^

At the first day of the trip, we wet to a place where all my family wanted to go. San Diego zoo! The zoo was very big, and there were lots of amazing animals! We could tour all the zoo by 2 floor bus. Oh! also panda is a very precious animal in America, and few days ago, a baby panda was born. I think all the baby animals are cute. The most favorite part of this zoo was a program. You can play and pet animals in the zoo. I liked it so much. The best animal was rhino. First, I thought that rhino was a ugly and a scary animal, but I soon knew that rhinos were very cute and gentle, but the point is when you are feeding, he tries to chew your hand!(I knew this after petting and feeding him..)

This is a picture of me playing in a beautiful sea,called La jolla sea cove.In there, you  

can swim with seals. Actually, this cove was made for children to play, but suddenly a group of seals came. Now it is the paradise for seals. I the picture, the brown things all over the rocks are seals! Believe it or not?! I almost fainted when I first went there..All wild seals, so you need to becareful! There was a one little cute baby seal, swimming in the ocean by itself! I tried to pet him, but the seal imediently went into the ocen... I bet the seal was scared by humans, but some were not.. I saw two adult seals swimming with a woman who was snorkeling!
                                                                                                                                     

                                                                                         

Movie review Frozen

 On Friday night, in GLPS, we saw a movie called 'Frozen'. I didn't know the story, but I knew it was a new Disney movie, and it will come to Korea soon. Before I saw this movie, I thought it was a story of Earth freezing and the people living in Earth, goes to another planet, but it was never related to the story. The movie 'Frozen' is an animation that is a story of two princesses, and one of them, the sister has a power of making anything freeze if she touches it. In this story, there are seven characters. Anna, Elsa, Sven, Kristoff, Hans, Olaf, and Trolls. The main characters Anna and Elsa. They are the princesses of the loyal family. The movie starts with two sisters playing together at night making snowman,
 

 but the middle when they were playing by jumping over the ice, suddenly, Elsa couldn't control her power and shot a ice to Anna's head! The magic power made Anna collapse. THe king and queen immediately went to the trolls who are a creature that looks like a rock. They can help sick people get better. The King and Queen told the Trolls the situation. The Trolls told them that they need to erase her memory, that Elsa has a magic power. Anna and Elsa grew up, and after about 10 years, they finally opened the gate that was closed for a long time.
  


 And also Elsa did her queen ceremony. At the party Anna fell in love with the prince Hans and told Elsa if they could marry today. Elsa was very disappointed and said "NO!". Anna was also mad and grabbed her gloves and accidentally pushed her. Soon all of the things in the town were frozen and all of the people in Arendelle knew her power, and Elsa ran to the north mountain, and decided to live there alone forever. At the end, Anna met Kristoff and Kristoff helped her find Elsa.
 
 When Anna met Elsa, she got hurt by her sister. She got an ice on her heart! When she was young the trolls told her that head would be okay, but heart is very dangerous. And the act of true love could only unlock that power. Anna soon knew that Hans was not her real love and knew that Kristoff was hers. The movie was good because it has lots of cliff hangers and it was very creative. But the movie's flowing was very normal but the total movie was great. By this movie, I knew the importance of family, and the quality of a leader. I think a leadership quality is to help others and understanding others. Also I think confidence is also a very important elements for being a great leader.

                                    

Three things I know to be true

  My name is Sally, and my Korean name is Yelin Chung. I live in Seoul, with  my mom,dad, and my cute puppy Snowy.His Korean name is Dong-Dong(동동이),because his feet are the most cute after his face. The most thing that he likes to do is to go outside and play and then eat his food. Sometimes I really feel enviable, because he doesn't need to do homework or study or get stressed about something. I never think Snowy is my pet. I always think he is my three years old cutie baby little brother in our family, so as my mom and dad.

 My mom and dad are both neurologists,and they are both the same age. One of my uncles is a KBS newswriter boss. My grandma and grandpa are both at home, but because my mom and dad goes to work, one of them comes to our house everyday except for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.Lastly, my one's grandfather likes to play guitar,and clarinet. This is almost all that I can tell about my main family.

   I have three favorite colors. Pink, white, and sky blue. You can think that I like bright colors, because when I see those colors, my mind becomes bright too! MY favorite girl group and boy group is A pink, and EXO, but I like A pink much more than EXO(I'm not lesbian). 

   




My favorite book is 'Matilda, and my  favorite movie is Beverly Hills.I like this movie  because I like dogs and in this movie the main characters are fancy dogs who only thought about their looks and changed their mind by getting caught by a bad stranger and realizing that inside is more important than the outside.


 
  I love all the animals in this world , even snakes or caterpillars, but I really hate pigeons, because their eyes are red, and they move their neck back and forth every second.
 My favorite subject is science, because the more I learn, the more I get interested in it, like a black hole!!! Lastly, I love my school, friends, and my family.
